Co-author of the game Formula D, Eric Randall founded a company called Play Machines in 2007. Specialized in Internet games and other products having to do with car racing. It’s been slightly over a year now since Play Machines unveiled the http://www.formuladenextgeneration.com/ website, the sole purpose of which is to give a home to online and board versions of the world-renowned Formula Dé. After nearly two decades, which have seen many board versions and at least one online version of the game see the light of day, Formula Dé is coming back under the name of Formula D, in a superb board edition made by Asmodee and on racerline.com, an online version which has been updated by Eric Randall and his partners-in-crime at Play Machines.
